  • Presentation: B

The campaign is nice with all required parts. I docked points for the lack of any stretch goals.

  • Quality: C

Individually the models are OK. They are designed to be plain RPG models in basic gear but as a group they are repetitive with repeated poses and a few faces look identical. A bit more variety would be nice. This is definitely a product for players and not collectors or competition painters.

The human Fighter and Cleric look a lot alike. An example of the lack of variety, great if you want to play sisters I guess.

  • Value (including Shipping):

    • B if ordering 7 or 12
    • C for 3
    • D for 1

The shipping costs can’t be helped due to shipping parcel with justified concerns to model breakage. It’s a shame as I think this will cost the company sales due to no fault of their own. The grades above stand though. The grade of B is used to calculate the overall as it’s the most popular and rightly so.

What kind the value, especially at lower tiers is the one size fits all shipping for the largest market of models like this you’re paying £5 (~$7) regardless of you order 1 or 12. I think this is lazy and will cost sales.  A simple fix would have been to have shipping for 1 to 3 and then 7+.

*this grade was challenged and upon further investigation, the amount difference from 100g parcel to 250g parcel, the method used to ship due to earlier breakage, is negligible.

  • Delivery Timeframe: A

5 months for a project like this is doable and not a long wait. They have a history of prompt delivery.

  • Successful Kickstarters: A+

With 7 successful and delivered projects they have a great history with no failures of pulled projects.

Human Rogue

In closing: These are models designed to be low level female RPG characters which these fill with promise of more to come. The poses of the models are repetitive and all look very similar to one another which could impact the appeal to collectors. Overall the value is above average of ordering a larger quantity but the value is below average at £10 for a single model. I wish there would have been tiered shipping to make them a better value. This is a niche item that was definitely needed and will be welcomed. Looking forward to see more of these and more projects from this company!
