Earlier today Joe talked about how he really likes Citadel paints. Now Joe should be really excited about the new paint sets are being released by Games Workshop, up now for pre-order now because they are a pretty good deal.
The paint sets are coming out at $36 to $75 and are all designed around a theme. There is a Layer Set ($75), Starter Set ($75), Base Set ($45.50), Dry Set ($42), and finally the Shade Set ($36) and they can all be found here for pre-order.
The layers that as an example weighs in at $75 but also includes includes 20 parts of paint that are normally $4 a piece retail and a fine detail brush that’s about $5. So once you do the math you end up saving yourself about $10 or $11 if you’d purchased each of these individually now I haven’t went through every single box and added them up but glancing at them it looks as if you will be saving a little bit of money with each of the boxes. I know the shade kit will probably end up being one of the more popular kits as we end up going through a lot of shades and washes. I hope this is a trend Games Workshop continues.
